Mixing: the step where
the recipe becomes reality.
Everything dosed beforehand is only as valuable as the mixing that follows. Especially with small proportions – minerals, vitamins, medications – the mixer determines whether every portion has the same composition.
We design the mixer for your batch size and your most critical recipe. Where required, we prove mixing quality with a coefficient of variation instead of just claiming it.

Short mixing time,
fast discharge.
Mixing time alone says little – what matters is the cycle time including filling and emptying. Our mixers are designed for fast, complete discharge, so no carry-over occurs into the next batch.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mixing
-
The batch mixer is the right choice whenever the recipe changes frequently or provable mixing quality is required. The continuous mixer pays off with a consistent product and high, constant throughput.
-
Through sampling from the finished batch and evaluation as a coefficient of variation. We accompany this measurement during commissioning and document the result.
-
That depends on design, recipe and liquid addition. More important than pure mixing time is the cycle time – that’s where the bigger savings potential lies in practice.
-
Yes. Oils, molasses or liquid additives can be introduced into the mixer via a spray system. We coordinate the quantity and timing of the addition with the recipe.
-
Through complete discharge and, where necessary, a flush batch. For critical products, we design the mixer and the subsequent conveying from the outset for minimal residual quantities.
