Dosing: accuracy comes
from the right design.
A scale is only ever as accurate as the feed before it. Running a main component and a micro-ingredient over the same screw conveyor creates a problem for one of the two. That’s why we stage it: large quantities fast, small quantities slow and fine.
We design each dosing point individually – by bulk density, flow behavior and required tolerance – and match scales and controls accordingly.

Weighing technology and controls
from a single source.
Mechanics, load cells and controls all come from the same house with us. That saves you the interface discussion when a batch doesn’t come out right – and makes calibration during commissioning significantly less complicated.

Frequently Asked Questions About Dosing
-
That depends on the component and quantity: main components are assessed differently than micro-ingredients. We give you a realistic tolerance for each dosing point instead of applying one figure across the whole plant.
-
Via separate micro-ingredient scales with their own finely adjustable feed. Running them alongside the large scale doesn’t work reliably in practice.
-
Yes. We calibrate during commissioning and recommend regular checks – this can be combined well with the maintenance appointment due anyway.
-
That’s what discharge aids are for: agitators, knockers or aeration floors in the pre-hopper. Which one is needed depends on your specific product.
-
Yes. It’s often enough to renew individual dosing points and the control system while the existing containers and steel structure remain.
