Your Tasks in Sales at AWILA

Receiving Inquiries
You clarify with the customer what the plant needs to achieve: throughput, recipes, space constraints, and budget.

Developing Concepts
Together with the design team, you work out a solution and present it to the customer in an understandable way.

Calculating Quotes
You prepare the quote, negotiate terms, and support the order through to signature.

Supporting Existing Customers
We’ve worked with many of our customers for decades. You maintain contact and recognize early where an expansion might be coming.

Trade Fairs and Customer Visits
You represent AWILA at industry trade fairs and visit customers on site – both domestically and abroad.

Sales that can explain
what it sells.
We don’t sell off-the-shelf products. Every plant is built for a specific process – so every order starts with listening, not with a price list.
You work closely with design and project management, so you can reliably tell the customer what’s feasible and what isn’t.

Your Profile in Sales

Commercial or Technical Training
A degree also works. What matters is that you can combine both: understanding technology and talking to people.

Experience in Capital Goods Sales
You know that a plant decision can take months, and you maintain contact the whole way through.

English Skills
Our customers are located in over 50 countries. You should bring negotiation-level English.

Willingness to Travel
Customer appointments and trade fairs are part of the job. We discuss openly how much travel is realistic.

-
That depends on the position. In production and design, it’s the exception; in the installation area, it’s part of the job. We discuss this openly in the interview before you sign.
